Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. 1 John 2:7 NKJV
Our Father, we rejoice to know Your commandments are based on Your character. You do not change, and therefore Your commandments and Your moral compass did not shift in the period between the Old and the New Testaments. Hallelujah! May our moral compasses remain in line with Yours, whatever the situation we find ourselves in. Deliver us from double standards, give us the backbone to withstand the pressures of immoral ‘political correctness’ and establish us in Your integrity. In Jesus Name, Amen.
