This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5 NKJV
Our Father, You are our moral and spiritual light. You enlighten our minds; You shape our consciences; You teach us what moral goodness is; You guide us in paths of purity and holiness. Hallelujah! We were in moral and spiritual darkness; our consciences were dulled and perverted; we loved evil more than Your goodness. BUT You became the Light of Life to us. Hallelujah! Thank You! So many around us are still groping in the same darkness. Father, draw them to Jesus as well! Make us shining ambassadors of Your kingdom of light! In Jesus Name, Amen.
