Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4 NKJV
Our Father, they will pressurize us to be unfaithful to You and Your Word by deriding, ridiculing, mocking, jeering, sneering, scoffing, scorning and by questioning the true prophecies in Scripture – even those about your imminent second coming. They will seek to seduce us into building lust-based kingdoms here on earth. Make us courageous ambassadors of Your Kingdom who will not give in to these pressures, but who will rejoice at the privilege of representing You in a broken world. In Jesus Name, Amen.
