Our Father, our hearts are vexed, troubled, wearied, worn out, afflicted, and oppressed by all the evil we encounter in the world around us. We flee to Your presence for comfort and strength. Deliver us from evil. Fill our hearts with Your compassion. Empower us to persevere. In Jesus Name, Amen.
