But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 Peter 2:1 NKJV
Our Father, You warn us against pseudo-prophets and pseudo-teachers. In their pious pride they promise prosperity and peace, but they perniciously promote divergent doctrines that ultimately harm us physically, psychologically, spiritually, and socially. Give us clear discernment to avoid the dangerous tunnel vision they spread through their enticing words. Feed us daily with the milk and meat of Your wholesome Word. In Jesus Name, Amen.
