Our Father, our hearts can so easily deceive us into making compromises with our favourite sins – leading us into pseudo-holiness and trapping us in spiritual pride = first class hypocrisy. Have mercy on us and forgive us. Show us today where we have grieved You and give us the courage to break with all sin and to practice Your truth in all areas of our lives. In Jesus Name, Amen.
