Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 2 Peter 3:11-12 NKJV
Our Father, because the time left to us is so short, You want us to be wholly set apart for You, to be used for service in Your kingdom only, and to be transformed to be more like You. You want the whole of our lives to reflect our devotion to You; You want us to expectantly look for and eagerly wait for Your second coming. Thank You for having such high expectations and holy plans for us. Empower us by the Holy Spirit and enable us by Your grace to rise up and take up our responsibilities in ways that glorify You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
